Dad
Dad was a man loved by everyone, a man who would give his last penny to help someone less fortunate, he was hard working and a fighter right up to the last second, One of dads favourite sayings was “if the doctor says he´ll live to be a hundred he would prove him wrong and live to a hundred and one.
And as the family know he proved this at the hospital
Coming from Ireland dad knew how to enjoy himself and was well known and liked in the community he has always been proud of his family and I know he would be proud of how everyone is coping at this time.
Although dad was not a practicing catholic he was a believer and that is why we are here today.
We are here to mourn, to grieve and to remember but most of all we are here as family and friends to celebrate the life of a father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, the likes of whom we may never witness again and to let dad know that we love him we miss him and he will always be in our hearts and minds.

Hi Dad, 5 long years have passed since you were taken from us and it has been 5 of the hardest years to bear without you around sharing your infinate wisdom with us.
